At Hrifunes we have a 32 hectare exclusive campsite only 2 km from the main house where you can camp in small clearings in the low birch forest where bird life is plenty. The nearby river Tungufljót and the wetland connected to it is also a home to many varieties of birds such as ducks and geese. The Hrífunes campsite is one of the most established campsites in Iceland. We can accommodate tents, camper vans, trailers, tent campers and more. Note that there is no electricity at the camp site although we do offer a water toilet (WC) and cold, running water.

• Children younger than 12 years old can stay for free at the Hrífunes campsite.
